“Oakridge Stars” or “Twister”
- Deb Tucker - $430ppdo/$505so    all inclusive weekend*

Choose one of two spectacular patterns to work on during the weekend that both feature Deb's patented tool the "Tucker Trimmer".  The Oak Ridge Star project will have a choice of two different sizes and the Twister project will have a choice of one size.  Both original quilt designs feature machine pieced blocks and pieced borders.  The Oak Ridge Star is rated intermediate and the Twister is rated confident beginner and above.  Students can expect to make a number of blocks and a sampling of the border during the retreat.  So pack up your sewing machine, rotary cutter and mat and join us for a fun weekend of quiltmaking.

January 24-29, 2010
“Finishing School”
- Deb Tucker - $675ppdo/$875so

Spend the week working on those projects started long ago, but have set aside for some future time.  Deb will share here expertise from 25 years quilting experience from design to individual projects and figuring yardage to completing the top, basting, quilting and finishing.  Lessons in specific areas will be given on an "as needed" basis with hints and tips shared throughout the week.  Several planned side trips (hopefully to a quilt shop or two) will break up the sewing and make the stay a complete experience.  The food, fun, fellowship and finishing are sure to have students feeling quite fulfilled by the end of the week.  An excellent course for those needing a little help, motivation or time to get the job done.

Finishing School included: 5 nights lodging, 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 4 afternoon teas, sewing room set-up and quilt teacher.

Deb Tucker - $430ppdo/$505so    all inclusive weekend*
